Turismo de Portugal creates “Clean & Safe Establishment” seal for tourism companies as a way to promote Portugal as a Safe and reliable destination regarding the care with the spread of the virus.

Turismo de Portugal will recognize companies in the Tourism sector that comply with the recommendations of the Directorate-General for Health to avoid contamination of spaces with SARS-CoV-2 (new coronavirus).

Tourist Enterprises, Tourist Entertainment companies and Travel and Tourism Agencies can request the “Clean & Safe Establishment” seal here. must comply with the set of provisions contained in the «Declaration of Commitment» that will be available on the digital platforms of Turismo de Portugal related to the registration of tourist companies: National Register of Tourist Companies (RNET), National Register of Tourist Entertainment (RNAT) or National Register Travel and Tourism Agencies (RNAVT).

Only after companies have submitted the Declaration of Commitment on the aforementioned platforms, do they have the possibility to use the seal in question, either in their physical facilities, or in the channels and platforms for disclosure and sale.

The Seal assigned to each company will be associated with its Registration number RNET, RNAA T ou RNAVT.

Turismo de Portugal, in coordination with the competent entities, will carry out random audits to adhering establishments.

This measure, linked to the Portugal Tourism Confederation (CTP) and with contributions from other associations in the sector, it seeks to sensitize enterprises to the minimum procedures to be adopted and to encourage the recovery of the tourism sector at national and international levels, reinforcing everyone's confidence in the destination Portugal and its tourist resources. Soon companies from other areas of activity will be able to access this seal through the Entrepreneur's Desk (ePortugal.gov.pt).
